Helping to Raise 1.5 Million to Help Kids

I work with some people that have a lot of money and they just need a little prodding to get them to give to worthy charities. I do not know if they participate because they want to or because of the tax write offs they get for their donations. I really don’t care as long as the charity gets the money and resources it needs to meet its annual budget and then some. I do know that gala charity events attract the wealthy as they seem to want to participate in things that are grander than your average stuff.

I am not wealthy, so it is hard for me to think like they do. I have, however, had many long conversations with some people I know who have made it big. It does not take a lot to begin to understand what motivates them even if I cannot fully associate with it. Some of those who are well off that I know will give as long as it can be completely anonymous. Others like to attend grand events such as gala charity events. Where To Find Kobe Bryant Shoes

Kobe Bryant shoes have become some of the most, if not the most, popular Nike shoes for basketball. Among all of the signature sneaker lines that Nike basketball has to offer, Kobe’s are far and away the heavyweight champion in number of units sold. There are several very good reasons that Mr. Bryant’s shoes are a top seller. The quality, design, and performance of the Kobe VI’s are few of those reasons. The multiple snakeskin textured colorways are another big reason. Perhaps this reason, and this reason alone, is why sneakerheads can’t buy enough of these shoes.

Retail Chains- There is a good chance you are only 15 minutes away from a fresh pair of Nike Zoom Kobe VI’s. Your local mall most likely will have at least two retail shoe outlets. Footlocker, Finishline, and Footaction typically inhabit a large local mall and are chock full of crispy kicks. There is no crispier pair of kicks than a Kobe VI. And, most of these retail stores currently have some of the Kobe VI’s on sale.

Online Retailers- If you don’t live near a major mall or can’t find that perfect colorway you were looking for in the mall, then simply jump online and start surfing. Footlocker, Finishline, Eastbay, Champs, and Footaction all have a wide variety of Kobe VI’s and even some V’s available. Many times you can get a colorway at their online site that isn’t in their retail store. And, pay less than retail for it.

Factory Outlets- If you are looking for an adventure, find the closest factory outlet to you and take a road trip. It may be well worth your while. At the present time there are plenty of colorways of the Kobe V to be had at factory outlet stores. And for less than $60. There is no greater feeling than scoring a pair of hard to find kicks at a fraction of a retail price.

Specialty Stores- There are several specialty stores that offer Kobe VI’s online. These stores have some of the Kobe VI’s that can not be found in retail outlets or factory stores. Flightclub, Kixfiles, and Windy City Sole are a few of the specialty stores that have limited stock in hard to find Kobe IV’s, V’s, and VI’s. These shops are like a treasure trove of signature sneakers. But be prepared to pay if you shop here. All the Kobe Bryant shoes found here are limited in amount and shoe size.

Kobe Bryant Shoes In Imperial Purple

A brand new spanking new pair of Kobe Bryant shoes has dropped. Stop the presses! No…that won’t be necessary. A Kobe VI is released, as we all know, once a week these days. A new Kobe shoe sighting is not breaking news. But what is breaking news is that the new colorway actually uses the colors of the Los Angeles Lakers. This time it is purple, no wait a second, imperial purple that is the primary color used on this new shoe. What the hell is imperial purple? I guess it is purple in which a very cool descriptive Nike term is attached.

The new Kobe VI colorway features this cool imperial purple on the standard snakeskin upper, midsole, heel cup and cage, inner lining, laces, and the forefoot portion of the outsole. Are you getting the picture? This is a very imperial purple shoe. Del Sol, another cool Nike term for yellow, is used on the Swoosh and Kobe logo. This colorway just might be the closest to Laker colors that we have ever seen on a pair of Kobe Bryant shoes.

Unfortunately, it might be the last…at least in the very near future. The NBA lockout is looming closer on the horizon and there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of good news coming from the NBA Players Association or the owners. If there is indeed no NBA season this year, and it certainly is looking like that will be the case, sneakerheads will have to do without new editions and colorways of the Kobe Bryant signature sneaker line. Oh, the horror!

Correct me if I am wrong, but NBA players are millionaires. Owners of NBA franchises are millionaires. Both players and owners alike, who have done quite well financially, are actually haggling over who should have more money. What!? Not being able to watch NBA basketball games is one thing. Not being able to cop a brand new edition of a Kobe shoe is another thing. The thought of a week going by without a Kobe shoe drop is outrageous!

The reality is that there may not be new editions and colorways of the Kobe Bryant shoe line in the near future. It that indeed is the case, sneakerheads had better head over to or and grab themselves a pair of Kobe VI’s while they are still available. This includes the new Imperial Purple colorway that will sell out quickly. I, for one, will be stocking up on one of the best Nike shoes for basketball
